Job Summary

To support the National Country Office’s Finance and Operations department by helping with document processing, evaluation, and coordination; making sure the office runs smoothly; keeping an eye on financial activity; and participating in reporting and audit procedures.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Provide support to the 2024 audit by working with both Operations and finance to ensure the completeness of documents on Box.
  • File audit-ready documents as necessary.
  • Assisting with all facets of the day-to-day operations and finance of the office.
  • Tracing, tracking, and expediting the purchase processes to meet set timelines.
  • Handling organizational and clerical support tasks for the finance and operations unit.
  • support of program activities.
  • Review of support documents to ensure completeness.
  • Provide finance and administrative support.
  • Filing of finance and operations documents

Requirements

Education: HND or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

Experience: 0–1 year of relevant work experience.

Specialized Knowledge: Prior volunteering experience with a donor-funded project is an advantage.

Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Abilities:

  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new environments.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
